Hello to all!
Ed & I just returned from a long weekend at the lake (Lake Erie) where we celebrated Canada Day (July 1st) There is nothing quite like sitting at the campfire and being surrounded by fireworks! Then to top it off, on Saturday night we were treated to another show in the sky....an amazing lightening storm accompanied by wind, rain and thunder...and a few tree branches tossed on the roof! Quite an exciting evening, but all is well, and Sunday the beautiful breeze off the lake made up for the early end to our evening Saturday. Tomorrow is the Fourth of July and fireworks will be high in the sky along the opposite shore as our neighbors celebrate. It is another reminder of the closeness of our two countries. Hope this special holiday weekend is enjoyed by all the friends of Avalon.

John and I have been very busy here in Maine . We decided to take my house of the market so, John has been busy painting and fixing things that needed to be fixed and in between all that we traded our 5th wheel in for a smaller camper. It's a 2011 travel trailer 30ft long, just big enough to go camping while we are here in Maine and we plan on leaving it in West Virgina at his Daugther's in-laws while we are in Florida. OH YA! Our wedding plans are all arange on the boat on Jan. 16th. For those that will be taking the cruise this will be a informal wedding , Shorts and a top . The reason for that is Our Guest for the wedding will be going on the boats has VIP around 10:00 a.m. and the wedding will be some times around 1 or 2 p.m. befor the boat takes off for the cruise and I was told that our suitcases will not be in our room in time to change .
